Grand Gentry | Gunmetal and Chrome | Multiple Wood Species

Description

The Grand Gentry is a slightly larger diameter than the normal Gentry we’ve all come to admire. The smooth and refined lines exhibit flair and elegance. The single tube body construction is well balanced and feels great in your hand. The Gunmetal and Chrome plating pair beautifully with this multi-species wooden pen blank.

Material

The inlay design of this pen blank was custom created to be reminiscent of a stained glass window. The design was laser cut from four different wood species: Claro Walnut, Red Oak, African Padauk, Hard Maple. Then each species was disassembled and reassembled to create four individual pen blanks. The pen blank was then carefully turned on a lathe to match the tip and end cap couplers.

Finish

A highly polished gloss finish is created using multiple layers of cyanoacrylate. This method ensures a long-lasting shine and will protect the material for years to come.
