Description
The Playwright rollerball is unique in that it features a postable magnetic cap. The Playwright is a very simple and straightforward design that draws attention to the body material.
Material
The body of this Playwright is made of a violet DiamondCast® blank. DiamondCast® is a patent pending material made with Alumilite and a combination of real diamond and various pigments. The resin is mixed in a state of the art mixer that removes air from the mix and all blanks are heat cured for maximum strength. Afterwards, the blank is carefully turned on a lathe to match the tip and end cap couplers.
Finish
The resin is sanded to 12,000 grit and then a 6-step buffing compound is applied to achieve a long lasting, highly polished finish.
